It’s non-stop action in Brad Thor’s new thriller, Foreign Influence.
After a bus in Rome carrying American college students is blown to bits, Navy SEAL-turned-covert Homeland Security operative Scot Harvath is summoned to the Oval Office. But the president, who wants him to hunt down the extremists responsible, dislikes Harvath’s cowboy rep and assigns him a babysitter: a bitter CIA agent with a checkered past. Harvath has no time to argue, especially when he arrives in Rome and a stunning Italian woman tells him the bus was a distraction; the real chaos has yet to be unleashed—in the U.S. Can Harvath, with help from his old adversary, the Troll, prevent one of the most unthinkable acts of evil the world has ever known?

I think this is a great book! I just started reading Brad Thor's books and can't wait until I have all the rest of them. I will anxiously await any new ones he has too.
So far I have read 4, and they are all great and very well written.

Story seems to ring true given what's happening today.

One of the best books I've read this year. If you read Brad Thor in the past, put this one on your to do list. You'll be glad you did. If you were going to model what an action thriller should be, then this book would rate at the top. It's that good!
