A Wish for Christmas

Celebrate the holidays in Cape Light where bestselling author and award-winning painter Thomas Kinkade teams up with writer Katherine Spencer in A Wish for Christmas.

Imagine this beautiful little New England town at Christmastime, with cozy, snow-covered cottages and lights gleaming through every window. Here’s a tale of love and hope that will capture your heart.

Jack Bradshaw, a widower, has a new family in Julie and Kate, with maybe even a new baby on the way. Now Jack’s son, David, returns home after serving in Afghanistan, and with him, a chance to heal their wounded relationship. Even before his military duties took him out of the country, David had left Cape Light…and his father. But now there’s a new family in place.

Further, David’s physical injuries may never heal and he’s burdened with psychological issues that stem from his service, plus unresolved problems he never faced at home. He’s having trouble joining in the cheer of the Christmas season and can’t help but wonder if there’s any room for him after all.

But Cape Light is always full of surprises, and it seems that Christmas always brings unexpected gifts that will never be forgotten.

Another good fast read from these two

I enjoyed going back to Cape Light to see what the characters are up to.I have read all the books in this series. Wish there were books about this more often than just Christmas. A good, fast read for the holidays or anytime, actually.

This is a delightful Holiday story that draws you in to the conflict. The tangled web of relationships is unraveled most satisfactorily. I have always enjoyed the authors art work and now his literary talent. Happy reading.
