Journey to 1910 Montana and see how the legendary Creed dynasty began. Written by New York Times bestselling author Linda Lael Miller, A Creed Country Christmas introduces us to big-hearted rancher Lincoln Creed, a widower searching for a governess for his young daughter.
Juliana Mitchell has troubles of her own. The teacher at the just-closed Indian school, she’s desperate to find a way to care for her charges, but with no money and no prospects, it looks to be a cold Christmas this year. But not if Lincoln has his way. Determined to help Juliana and her students, he whisks them off to his ranch, not realizing that, in this season of miracles, their chance meeting may just be the greatest Christmas present he’s ever received.

I've read other "Creed" stories prior to this one, stories that have a time line later than this. It was nice to find out the beginnings of the Creed men. It made a cold winter day pass very nicely.
