Joe Hill delivers his first graphic novel—a chilling new haunted-house story with art by Gabriel Rodriquez!
After Rendell Locke is shot to death by a psychotic teen, the Locke family moves to Keyhouse, their ancestral family home in Lovecraft, Massachusetts. But this is no ordinary house, and 6-year-old Bode is quick to uncover a few of its secrets: doors that open onto other possibilities and an unlikely girl in the bottom of a well who claims to be his echo.
The Lockes have barely unpacked when they learn that Rendell’s killer has murdered his way out of jail. But he may be the least of their problems. Because Bode is beginning to suspect that his “echo” is something other than what she claims…something not to be trusted.

I received this as a Christmas gift because my husband knew how much I enjoyed Hill's Heart-Shaped Box. I wasn't sure I'd like it, as graphic novels are not my thing but within a few pages I was hooked and flew through this volume. In fact I signed on tonight to see if the next volume was available and I added it to my list for January. Welcome To Lovecraft has the exact right amount of suspense, creepiness and humor and I would tell anyone to not be turned off by the fact that it's a graphic novel, it's an extremely well done ghost story that will leave you hanging on for more.

The artwork is very well done, however I cannot follow the story at all!!! I was a big fan of Joe Hills book "Heart-shaped Box", however I have never read a gracphic novel and did not know what to expect. I will never purchase another graphic novel in the future!!!!

Besides having very good art the story line was fantastic.

I have never read a graphic novel before but the cover artwork struck me so I decided "why not?" ..... I was not disappointed in the slightest. What an imaginative, humorous, creepy and intriguing story. And the artwork is amazing, just amazing, every expression, character and background matched exactly what you would imagine if you were just reading the words. I LOVED it and I cannot wait to read the rest!!!

The only other 'graphic novels' I have read are Stephen King's the gunslinger which I am a fan of all his works. I really enjoyed this graphic novel & can't wait for the next one. I am now hooked on graphic novels
