Even though i thought the ending was a little weak in this novel..i loved the way he introduced the characters and made the whole thing worthwhile...Steven King is one of the best authors of this century...and this book sealed the deal with my fascination of his work.

When Vampires, Rabid dogs, Psychotic Psychic Chicks, Cemetaries that brought the dead back to life and a lil old clown called It lived in the sewers meant something to him. This book was the closest to the old King that we will get. Now its back to the psychological (yawn) mysteries with a dash of horror if were lucky Stephen King that everyone has come to expect.

I am still shuddering thinking about that old guy shuffling around in his slippers... Stephen King always finds a way to make the characters of his stories seem like the people next door--like you could really know them, but don't want to! A meaty book and tricky to start, but thrilling ride to the end.

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down, and finished it in record time.
If you want a good chilling read for those dark quiet nights, this is a winner!
