What a wonderful book. If you're a traveler at heart, and not sure where you should head to, just pick a page and read about it! Many wonderful places listed in this book that you otherwise wouldn't have put on your map of places to go.

1000 Places to see -- Waste of my $

I bought this book thinking that it would have 1000 amazing places to see, not a list of hotels or restaurants. I expected places (historical or wonderous) to visit. This was a waste of my money! A trip to your library will be much better and definitely cheaper if you are expecting anything more than hotels and restaurants...plus excerpts of this book can be seen on TV.

I gave yhis book to my parents along with a GPS for Christmas. They love it. It was also a nice gift for a co-worker. I keep one in my magazine rack to flip through. Excellent.

A Coffee Table Book For Sure!

This is a wonderfully detailed book with a lot of interesting and different places that I've never heard of! I bought it for my husband for Christmas and while we enjoyed it...it really hasn't been touched since. It sits on our coffee table and friends/family will flip through it and that's what it's mainly good for unless you have lots of money to go carousing across the globe! haha.
