Aunt Dimity Down Under

A shock wave rocks Lori Shepherd’s world when she hears that her dear friends, Ruth and Louise Pym, may be dying. Lori braces herself for a final farewell, but instead the eccentric sisters ask her for a favor: Will she find their long-lost brother before it’s too late?

A wicked scoundrel, Aubrey Pym was banished from his family long ago, and much to Lori’s surprise, she must travel all the way to New Zealand to find him! But in agreeing to grant her friends’ last request, Lori has no idea what she’s in for.

In Aunt Dimity Down Under, Nancy Atherton spices her ghostly mystery with an exotic flavor, as the spirited Aunt Dimity helps Lori unravel a web of secrets that has haunted the Pym family for almost 100 years.

Disappointing
May 12, 2010

No real plot; instead a travelogue of New Zealand. Very, very disappointing. I'd rather the book spent time on the sisters Pym and their lives instead of the life of a Pym brother I cared nothing about and his granddaughter. We learned nothing about the sisters whose lives remain a mystery and couldn't really mourn their deaths. Neither did Lori.

i always enjoy the Aunt Dimity books....Nancy Atherton tells a good story with a lot of local history ...this book is a very quick read i just wish it would of been longer...cant wait for the next adventure Lori and family get into..not a real mystery just a good story of life..
