When Navy SEAL Adam Brown woke up on March 17, 2010, he didn’t know he would die that night in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan—but he was ready.
In Fearless, Eric Blehm tells Brown’s story—of a fun-loving boy from Arkansas whose appetite for risk drew him into a downward spiral that landed him in jail, but who went on to become a member of the elite SEAL Team Six, the counterterrorism unit that took down Osama bin Laden. It is the story of Adam’s last mission, and of the heroic acts that took his life. The book also offers a surprising insider summary (provided by Adam’s former Team 6 mates) of the raid that killed Bin Laden.
Fearless is a remarkable story of redemption, courage and what it means to be a Navy SEAL.

I loved this book for a few reasons. Eric Blehm is super at keeping you glued to the book. This wasnt just another book about how things are at BUDS, thats been written about alot. This was more about who Adam Brown was. What he went thru in some very dark times, the transistion he made, and how he "Paid it forward". This is a must read for those thinking about SPECOPS as a career.

Adam was a true american hero. The story of his life and the way he, supported by his wife and others, overcame a terrible addiction to rise to a place of prominence within the special forces community is an inspirational example we all can use. I found this book really hard to put down once I started it and I highly recommend it to others!

A true lover of Christ, a sinner, a real true American, and a real genuine hero, husband, father, and son. Inspirational to the core. There will never be another Adam Brown. All those who got to know him while he was alive were blessed to know him and serve with him. He is on my list of people I can't wait to meet when I get to heaven. I hope this book speaks to you the way it did to me.

This is a book that I want my sons to read. I want my sons to aspire to be a man of courage and honor such as Adam Brown was. I plan to buy the book as a gift to all young men as they enter the military.
