Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex

New York Times bestselling author Eoin Colfer’s seventh adventure in his blockbuster series has been two years in the making—and it’s so worth the wait!

This time, an army of fairy space probes have returned to Earth reprogrammed to destroy Atlantis—and only Artemis Fowl can stop them. As he races to save the subaquatic city, the young mastermind must also combat an onslaught of obsessive-compulsive and delusional disorders, both byproducts of prodigious intellect and immense stress at an early age.

With all the suspense, humor and magic that made this blockbuster series such a phenomenal success, Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex is sure to please fans of the series and those discovering it for the first time! (Ages 9-12)

Too Much Left Hanging
August 17, 2010

I am a faithful follower of Artemis Fowls adventures. As a matter of fact, I have all the books except the Graphic Novel. I love the stories Eoin writes, but this time I felt it was lagging. There wasn't enough of the fantasy in it and at the end there were way too many loose ends. In the Artemis Fowl series, each book can pretty much stand on it's own with each story being nicely wrapped up at the end. In this book, the main character's normal behavior were switched around too much for my taste. I understand the changes in Artemis' character, but didn't feel it was well thought out. Now I am left hoping that this will be finished up in his next book...and with less of a delay before it is published.
