I am a faithful follower of Artemis Fowls adventures. As a matter of fact, I have all the books except the Graphic Novel. I love the stories Eoin writes, but this time I felt it was lagging. There wasn't enough of the fantasy in it and at the end there were way too many loose ends. In the Artemis Fowl series, each book can pretty much stand on it's own with each story being nicely wrapped up at the end. In this book, the main character's normal behavior were switched around too much for my taste. I understand the changes in Artemis' character, but didn't feel it was well thought out. Now I am left hoping that this will be finished up in his next book...and with less of a delay before it is published.
