Born and raised in St. Louis, John C. McManus writes regularly for World War II magazine and is also a member of the magazine's editorial advisory board. He's written several books including The Americans at D-Day: The American Experience at the Normandy Invasion, The Americans at Normandy: The Summer of 1944, and more. He currently lives in St. Louis with his wife Nancy.
